Judith is a Principal Associate primarily working in KATS’ Litigation and Real Estate practice areas.
Judith handles a wide variety of Real Estate matters including transactional work for investors, foreign and domestic, requiring services in acquisition, portfolio management, and disposal of immovable property in Uganda.
Over the course of a successful career spanning almost 15 years, she has successfully undertaken a broad range of Land Transactional and development work for and on behalf of private individuals, commercial landlords and landowners, and large-scale agriculturalists. She has successfully assisted clients in acquiring hundreds of acres of land to facilitate commercial agriculture; handling all aspects from land acquisition, title creation and registration.
A keen litigator, Judith acts for a myriad of clients in the agriculture and agro-processing, banking, energy, and telecommunication sectors where her work focuses on the intersect between these industries’ core activities and the bringing and defending of claims relating to Real Estate / Property rights protection.
Judith undertook on behalf of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Co-operatives a study to identify and harmonize divergent areas in national laws and the COMESA Common Investment Area Agreement (CIAA)
She is a member of FIDA Uganda (The Uganda Association of Women Lawyers) and this is reflected in her litigation experience that also encompasses Family Law, Estates and Trusts.
