Alice featured in New Vision’s Top 40 Under 40, Class of 2018
Our Alice Namuli Blazevic was acknowledged among the Top 40 Under 40 Most Inspirational Women, Class of 2018, by the New Vision, Uganda’s Leading Daily on the 27th January, 2019. It is an annual project run by the newspaper.
The criteria considered by the judges is: the age of the individual (they cannot be over the age of 40), the degree of innovation in the person’s work, one’s impact on the community and the significance of the individual’s personal story to New Vision readers. Alice was featured among other outstanding individuals in various fields including but not limited to medicine, engineering, business, civil society, entertainment, politics.
Alice was recognized for her multi-dimensional experience in the Corporate and Commercial arena of the legal sector, specifically her burgeoning interest in Artificial Intelligence and Block Chain technology. Her contributions as Vice President of the Uganda Law Society (ULS), Chairperson of the Female Lawyers division of the ULS, Country Leader for Africa Legal Tech Network and Country Leader for Business Women for Africa were also accredited.
Further, her “Coffee with Alice’ mentorship programme, also resonated with New Vision readers, as they applauded her initiative to create a new generation of disciplined and incorruptible lawyers.
